Festive Fundraiser for Irish Wolfhound Rescue

The IWCT’s Festive Fundraiser in aid of The Irish Wolfhound Rescue Trust has been a sensational success.

This is the Charity’s first bespoke fundraising event, and the trustees were delighted to assist IW Rescue so that they can carry on their vital work for our beloved breed.

Both IWRT and the IWCT are quite frankly staggered at the enormous generosity shown by everyone involved and would like to extend their sincere thanks to those people that made this event possible and also to those that gave so willingly and on such a colossal scale too.

The Festive Fundraiser as we are now calling it, because of the generosity not only from those who purchased raffle tickets but from individual donations.

So this fabulous amount raised includes not only the Christmas Spirit Raffle funds but donations from individuals who are passionate about Rescue     Those who have tirelessly sold bespoke items, and rattled collection tins, requested these proceeds were given in true Christmas Spirit to The Irish Wolfhound Rescue Trust.

We have been overawed by this unconditional generosity, and it's it a fitting tribute to the heartfelt work of Roger Tebbutt and his fellow helpers in Rescue.

In total the fundraiser made a staggering £2250 for IW Rescue and here is the breakdown of what this fabulous amount is made up from:

Christmas Spirit Raffle.                                    £1,100.00
Anonymous donation.                                     £200
Tracy Appleyard & Homestead Livery            £185
Xmas Cake flash raffle.                                    £70
Anonymous donation.                                     £50
Rosie Walters proceeds                                  £609.50
Debbie Porter & Mr Billing- Collection tins.  £35.50

On behalf of everyone at the IWCT, we would like to say a huge thank you to all that contributed to raising the incredible amount of £2250. In addition, a personal thank you to Tracy Appleyard for the livery yard’s ‘slice of cake’ donations, to Debbie Porter and Mr Biling for gifting the contents of their collection tins and to those donors that wish to remain anonymous. Finally, thank you to everyone that donated raffle prizes and last, but by no means least, to Rosie Walters, whose generosity knows no bounds and the IWCT trustees are greatly honoured by the level of support from everyone and yes we feel very privileged to receive such help.

Thank you all for being so generous and thank you all for thinking of our breed Rescue.

A Very Merry Christmas to you all.
